A visit to Avery Island LA - The home of Tabasco sauce
We went to New Orleans in August 2021 to get my older son setup at college there and being a long time fan of Tabasco sauce I really wanted to visit the Tabasco facility on Avery Island while we were close by. It was about a 3 hour drive there via Baton Rouge and Lafayette on I-10. We came back the shorter way on US-90 through Morgan City, which is about a 2 hour drive.

Avery Island is a salt dome currently about 3 miles from the Gulf of Mexico.
